Of Fish, Flies, Dogs, and Women By Timothy R. Montes

The story starts when the woman tells her miserable life before achieving success to the flat character Mana Biben. She sells fish with her foot with in her town because she was afraid with the market place competition. Courage and Strength of Women is the focus of the whole story in flashback. The Fish symbolizes the woman, dogs as husband, problems and Flies represents as Gossips and struggles. However, this story will tell the readers how the woman had become successful by selling fish on foot by going through a lot of obstacles and it also depicts that if fear takes over u and listening to gossips attain nothing. This literature piece demonstrates that being in burden or misery is not the end of your line in life, but being hardworking, smart and fearless will lead you somewhere to success you don’t usually expect.
